With project financing of the SNSF and SDC and within the scope of the Swiss Programme for Research on Global Issues for Development (r4d- programme), BSS is providing backstopping support to the University of Teacher Education Zurich in the implementation of an international research project.

The SNSF and SDC's r4d-programme is targeted towards researchers in Switzerland and in developing and emerging countries who are collaborating in research on global issues. The focus of the programme is the reduction of poverty and the protection of public goods in developing countries.
BSS provides technical inputs, especially with regard to the quantitative analysis of an online survey of companies conducted in six countries. Furthermore, BSS supports the international research team in operational matters.
